Missionettes
Missionettes is a ministry tool designed to fulfill the principle (found in Titus 2 of the Bible) instructing women to mentor young girls. It is sponsored by the Women’s Ministries Department of the Assemblies of God. This ministry for girls and boys ages 3 and 4, and girls ages 5 and up meets at 7 pm on Wednesdays and teaches Christ-centered values through a variety of classroom instruction and activities. These activities include sleepovers, campouts, and special mother-daughter and father-daughter events.
The Five-fold Purpose of Missionettes
- To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance
- To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us—developing girls spiritually and mentally
- To provide encouragement, support, and accountability
- To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities
- To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord
