Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is a national program sponsored by the Assemblies of God to meet the physical, spiritual, mental, and social needs of boys and young men ages five through 17. The ultimate goal is to help boys recognize and assume their place of leadership as responsible followers of Jesus Christ. Our motto is to reach, teach and keep boys for Christ. We recognize that the boys we reach today will be the leaders of tomorrow!
The ministry reaches across the United States and in over 63 nations around the world. It motivates boys spiritually through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models. The boys are strengthened mentally by an advanced awards-based weekly program. Further, the boys increase their physical prowess by participation in age-specific activities and recreation. Finally, they are introduced to church, community, and nature-related activities to develop their social skills and awareness.
Dedicated leaders, Commanders, provide boys with the necessary direction during a weekly outpost meeting. The meetings are designed to develop the total boy for Christ and offer love and understanding between the boy and a godly role model. Royal Rangers meet at 7pm on Wednesdays. Go to the calendar (Category: Children) for dates and times of activities.
