David & Sherri Godbout Church Planting After wasting much of their teenage years in the pursuit of happiness apart from God, David & Sherri Godbout came to faith and trust in Jesus Christ on August 31, 1980. They spent seven years at Sheffield Family Life Center where they were involved in practically every ministry available. During those years, they worked in small business development and had two of their three children. They left Kansas City to prepare for a life of vocational ministry. After receiving an B.A. in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College, they invested three years in a church planting venture in Morganfield, Kentucky, and in youth and children’s ministry in both Texas and Georgia. Their focus has always been on loving and building people. In July 1998, they returned to Kansas City to lead the youth department at Sheffield Family Life Center where they were privileged to be a part of starting the Master’s Commission program. Taking a step of faith, the Godbouts have recently sold their home, moved in with their son-in-law and daughter, resigned their position of nine years, and are preparing to relocate to the near Southside of St. Louis to begin the work of planting a new church.
David and Sherri will be in the 6pm service on Sunday, September 14. The Godbouts will attend the Hebisen's House2House meeting at 2pm Saturday, September 13 and then join HOPE Ministiries for the Battle of the Bands at 4pm that afternoon! They will visit with Vida Nueva at 9am; Level 5 at 10am; Kids Zone at 11:30am on Sunday, September 14.

Dale & Patti Coad Caribbean Area Directors
While serving in the Air Force, Dale was called to pastoral ministry. Dale studied at Southern California College where he became Missions Director. His missions experience includes: Hawaii, Denmark, Latvia and home missions. After eight years of pastoral ministry, Dale returned to Vanguard University of Southern California to pursue a Master’s degree. During this time, God place a very specific call on his life for missions. On a missionary study trip to Costa Rica, Dale visited a very poor barrio that had a Latin America ChildCare School. Feeling overwhelmed with the abject poverty in the community, he asked himself: “What difference would it make, here in this community, if Christ truly reigned here?” Across the street from the desperately poor barrio, the children in the LACC School were singing praises to God. Dale went into the Chapel and saw the eyes of the children alive with the hope that Jesus had given. In that sacred moment, the Lord spoke and said, “I have come and I am making a difference in the lives of these children!” Since that call, Dale has invested his life into developing LACC schools in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. Today, Dale serves as the Caribbean Area Director for AG World Missions.
Dale & Patti will be in the 9 & 10:45am services on Sunday, September 21.
