Music is and always has been an integral part of the human spirit. It motivates, saddens, angers, and enlivens us. It always has been and is a big part of our worship to God. He has created music as a unique way for us to praise Him, worship Him, and show our deep love for Him. In our worship of God, music can stir our hearts, break down barriers, and allow us to be more receptive to God's presence and love. From the earliest events recorded in the Bible, man has used music to express himself to God.
The Music Ministry of First Assembly is comprised of volunteers striving to serve the Lord through the gift of music. The Music Ministry of St. Charles First Assembly offers many opportunities including:
Worship Team This team of vocalists and musicians lead a time of praise and worship at every service. Three different worship teams rehearse under the direction of our Music Pastor.
Choir
The choir rehearses during the week and sings each Sunday morning under the direction of our Music Pastor. They provide special musical selections and support in the leading of worship in all services.
Sound Coordination The seamless operation of all sound and lighting during services and productions is an integral part of our church music ministry.
Media Production Recorded copies of each service and booked sets of sermon series are available at the Media Center for purchase. CD's - $3.00
Multi Media Audio-visual assistance in support or our services and productions is also an important element at First Assembly.
